Gorgeous hotel, we was greeted by such friendly staff the minute we walked in we arrived a few hours earlier than our check in time to leave our cases whilst we waited but she was so helpful that our room was actually ready when we arrived so she sorted us to our rooms as soon as we got there, nothing seems to much trouble for them they will help with anything you need, our room was spot on, lovely view from our window, toiletries including shower caps and hair ties, robes and slippers, safety deposit box which actually works, silk hangers for delicate clothing, mini bar fully stocked with wine, cider, larger, spirits and soft drinks as well as sparkling and still waters and a snack counter fully stocked with crisps, trail mix, sweets. Nuts, honey, popcorn and chocolate, the tea and coffee that was provided too the tea was so nice, we ordered room service for our evening meal and the lady who brought the food to our room was so polite and helpful, the food was fresh and hot and tasted incredible, same vibe at checking out friendly kind and warm hospitality. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The location isn't central but within walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Buses available to catch , also trams. I liked everything about the hotel from our warm welcome by staff on arrival up to when we left the hotel to return home. Beautiful modern hotel, spacious bedroom overlooking the river , everything we needed in the room , tea making facilities, mini bar and more. We had one breakfast during our stay and two evening meals one of which was in the lounge bar and one meal in the restaurant. The food was excellent throughout our stay.

Our stay here was memorable for all the right reasons. The staff without exception were excellent....polite, efficient and very helpful. The suite we had was extremely clean and comfortable....really quiet too. We both thought the breakfasts and the food generally was hard to fault. The atmosphere in the hotel was particularly enhanced by the beautiful plants and flowers that were to be seen everywhere...so much time and care must be spent on these but it's well worth it. We would definitely choose the Lowry again for our next visit to Manchester.

Very warm welcome, a great River view room, which was very spacious & had all the facilities you’d expect, plus a sizeable dressing area, very bright bathroom. The River Restaurant for dinner was also excellent with great food & service, breakfast also ticked all the boxes. This hotel is excellent with easy access to Deansgate & Arndale for shopping & eateries, the only fly in the ointment is the hotel is pretty much surrounded by high rise buildings so apart from the river not especially great views, woukd we return, absolutely!

Reception team were friendly and efficient. Really liked the extra touch of calling the room after check in to check we were happy with the room and if we needed anything. The only thing that changed my score from a 10 to an 8 was the arrival at the restaurant for breakfast, 4 staff members walking around and we not acknowledged until the door host came from out the back. The same thing happened to another 3 guests that came in once we had been seated. It felt a little disorganised.
